शार्ङ्गधर संहिता - मध्यमखण्डम् - वटि कल्पना
चन्द्रप्रभा वचा मुस्ता भूनिम्बामृतदारुकम् । हरिद्रातिविषादार्वी पिप्पलीमूल चित्रकौ ॥
धान्यकं त्रिफला चव्यं विडङ्गं गजपिप्पली ॥ व्योषं माक्षिकधातुश्च द्वौ क्षारौ लवणात्रयम् ॥
एतानि शाणमात्राणी प्रत्येकं कारयेद् बुधः ।त्रिवृद्दन्ती पत्रकं च त्वगेला वंशलोचना ॥
प्रत्येकं कर्षमात्राणी कुर्यादेतानि बुद्धिमान् । द्विकर्षं हतलोहं स्यात् चतुष्कर्षा सिता भवेत् ॥
शिलाजित्वष्टकर्षं स्यात् अष्टौकर्षास्तु गुग्गुलोः । एभिरेकत्र संक्षुण्णैः गुटिका कारयेत् शुभा ॥
चन्द्रप्रभेति विख्याता सर्वरोगप्रणाशिनी ॥ प्रमेहान् विंशतिं कृछ्रं मूत्राघातं तथाश्मरीम् ॥
विबन्धानाहशूलानि मेहनं ग्रन्थिमर्बुदम् । आन्त्रवृद्धिं कटीशूलं श्वासं कासं विचर्चिकाम् ॥
अण्डवृद्धिं तथा पाण्डुं कामलां च हलीमकम् । कुष्ठान्यर्शांसि कण्डूं च प्लीहोदरभगन्धरम् ॥
दन्तरोगं नेत्ररोगं स्त्रीणामार्तवजां रुजम् ।पुंसां शुक्रगतान् दोषान् मन्दाग्निमरुचिं तथा ॥
वायुं पित्तं कफं हन्यात् बल्या वृष्या रसायनी ।चन्द्रप्रभायां कर्षस्तु चतुःशाणो विधीयते ॥
दीपिका टीका
इदानीं चन्द्रप्रभागुटिकां दर्शयन्नाहचन्द्रप्रभेत्यादि । चन्द्रप्रभा कर्पूरः, एके चन्द्रप्रभाशब्देन शठी शतावरी वा कथयन्ति संज्ञाशब्दत्वात् । भूनिम्बः कैरातः, अमृता गुडूची, दारुकं देवदारु, क्वचिद्भूनिम्बामरदारुकमिति पाठो दृष्टः । तत्रामरदारु देवदारु, दार्वी दारुहरिद्रा, व्योषं त्रिकटुकं, माक्षिकधातुः स्वर्णमाक्षिकम् , द्वौ क्षाराविति स्वर्जिकाक्षारयवक्षारौ, लवणत्रयमिति सैन्धवं सौवर्चलं बिडं इति लवणत्रयं त्रिवृन्निशोथः, दन्तीति दन्तीमूलत्वक्, तदभावे दन्तीबीजान्यपि मनाग् देयानि इति कस्मिंश्चित् सम्प्रदाये न सर्वत्र । हतलोहं सम्यङ्मृतलोहचूर्ण, शिलाजतु प्रसिद्धं, तच्चात्र शुद्धं ग्राह्यं,शुद्धिरस्यान्यत्रोक्ता ज्ञातव्या विस्तरेण। शेषं द्रव्यं सुबोधम् । मात्रापि चैतेषां व्यस्ता सुबोधा ज्ञातव्या । चन्द्रप्रभादिविख्यातेति चन्द्रप्रभेयं वटी आदिविख्याता पूर्व प्रसिद्धेत्यर्थः, चन्द्रप्रभेवेत्यर्थः । अस्याः सतताभ्यासाच्चन्द्रस्येव प्रभा कान्तिर्भवतीति, यद्वा चन्द्रप्रभा नाम द्रव्यमादिर्यस्याः । सर्वरोगमित्यवशिष्टं रोगजातमुक्तरोगसमूहात्, तमपि नाशयितुं योग्या भवतीति भावः । कृच्छं मूत्रकृच्छं, विबन्धो वातादीनामप्रवृत्तिः,आनाह उदरापूरः, मेहनमिति ग्रहणेनैवोपदंशशूकदोषादयोऽभिधीयन्ते, बल्या बलकरी, वृष्या शुक्रवृद्धिकरी, रसायनी जराव्याधिविनाशिनीत्यनेन पौनरुक्त्येन प्रभावोत्कृष्टत्वमस्या दर्शितं । चन्द्रप्रभायां कर्षस्तु चतुःशाणो विधीयते इति पादद्वयं क्षेपकमामनन्ति केचित् ॥ ४०-४९ ॥
गूढार्थ दीपिका टीका
चन्द्रप्रभा कर्पूरः, चन्द्रवत्प्रभा यस्येति व्युत्पत्त्या, यद्वा चन्द्रप्रभा गन्धालिकाख्यकर्पूरभेदः तथान्वयवृत्त्या। पथ्ये गन्धालिका गन्धवधूः पृथुपलाशिका। शठी सुगन्धचण्डा स्यात्सोमभा सोमसंभवा', अमरदारु देवदारु, दारू दारुहरिद्रा, गजपिप्पली चव्यफलं, व्योषं त्रिकटु, माक्षिकधातुः स्वर्णमाक्षिकं शुद्धं मारितं च, एतानि प्रत्येकं शाणमात्राणि टङ्कमात्राणि । त्रिवृत् निःसृता, दन्ती जयपालमूलं, पत्रकं तेजः , एला, वंशलोचना, एतानि प्रत्येकं कर्षमात्राणि । हतलोहं मृतलोहं द्विकर्ष, सिता सितोपला चतुःकर्षा, शिलाजतुसत्वं अष्टकर्षाणि, गुग्गुलुर्दशकर्षः एवमेकत्रीकृतः चन्द्रप्रभा भवति । इयं चन्द्रप्रभादित्वात् चन्द्रप्रभागुटिका। केचित्तु एवं व्याख्यानयन्ति चन्द्रवत्प्रभा यस्यासौ चन्द्रप्रभो गुग्गुलुः स तु आदौ विडङ्गमधिकृत्य लिखितस्तथापि चन्द्रप्रभानाम्ना चन्द्रप्रसादेन प्राप्ता, सा वङ्गसेनादिभिःप्रमेहाधिकारे लिखिता। तथाच क्रिमिरिपुदहनव्योषत्रिफलामरदारुचव्यभूनिम्बं । मागधिमूलं मुस्तं शठी वचाधातुमाक्षिके चैव इत्यादि ॥४०-४९ ॥

कचूर (मतान्तरमे बावची), वच, मोथा, चिरायता, गिलोय, देवदार, हल्दी, अतीस, दारुहल्दी, पिप्पलामूल, चीता, धनियाँ, हरे, बहेड़ा, आमला, चव, वायविडङ्ग, गजपीपल, सोंठ, मिर्च, पीपल, सोनामक्खी भस्म, यवक्षार, सज्जीखार,सेंधानमक, कालानमक और समुद्रनमक ३-३ माशे तथा निसोत, दन्तीमूल, तेजपात, दालचीनी, इलायची और बंसलोचन १-१ कर्ष (१५ माशे) एवं लोहभस्म २ कर्ष, मिश्री ४ कर्ष, शिलाजीत ८ कर्ष और गूगल ८ कर्ष लेकर सबका महीन चूर्ण करके गोलियां बना लीजिए. यह चन्द्रप्रभा गुटिका बीस प्रकारके प्रमेह, मूत्रकृच्छ्, मूत्राघात, पथरी, मलावरोध, अफारा, शूल, मेहनग्रन्थि (मूत्रग्रन्थि), अर्बुद (रसौली), अण्डवृद्धि, पाण्डु, कामला, हलीमक, अन्त्रवृद्धि, कटिशूल, श्वास, खासी, विचर्चिका, कुष्ठ, अर्श (बवासीर), खुजली, तिल्ली, भगन्दर, दन्तरोग, नेत्ररोग, स्त्रियोंकी आर्तव पीड़ा, पुरुषोके शुक्रविकार, मन्दाग्नि, अरुचि, वात, पित्त और कफनाशक तथा बल्या, वृष्या और रसायन है।
नोट
- भैषज्य रत्नावलीमें कचूरसे लेकर चीते तककी समस्त औषधे १-१ कर्ष लिखी है शेष प्रयोग समान है।
- बृहत् योग तरङ्गिणी में त्रिफलेके अतिरिक्त शेष प्रयोग समान है। मात्रा=१-२ माशा । अनुपान=मिश्रीयुक्त - दूध अथवा जिस रोगमें सेवन करनी हो उसको नष्ट करनेवाला कोई क्वाथ ।
- चन्द्रग्रभा शब्दसे प्रायः वैद्य कचूर ही ग्रहण करते हैं परन्तु कपूर लेना अधिक उत्तम है।
