भैषज्य रत्नावली - ज्वराधिकारम्

अमृतायाः पलशतं दशमूली शतं तथा ।  चतुद्रोणे जले पक्त्वा कुर्यात् पादावशेषितम् ।।
 शीते तस्मिन् रसे पूते गुडस्य त्रितुलाः क्षिपेत् ।  अजाजी षोडशपलं पर्पटस्य पलद्वयम् ।।
 सप्तपर्णं त्रिकटुकं मुस्तकं नागकेशरम् । कटुकातिविषे चेन्द्रयवश्च पलसम्मितम् ॥
 एकीकृत्य क्षिपेद्वाण्डे निदध्यान्मासमात्रकम् । अमृतारिष्ट इत्येष सर्वज्वरकुलान्तकृत् ।।

  1. Kashaya dravya or drugs of decoction should be coarsely powdered and listed amount of water should be added and boiled to get one fourth decoction. Decoction should be  kept in clean vessel and allowed to cool down and then filtered out.
  2. Listed amount of Jaggary should be added to the decoction and stirred well till jaggary is dissolved completely.
  3. Then once again solution should be filtered with micro clothes or fine sieve.
  4. This solution should be kept in clean vessel and Additive drugs which are fine powdered should be added.
  5. Dhataki Flowers though they are not mentioned in Reference Shloka , to get good fermentation, one should add the same.
  6. The mouth of the vessel should be tied with the cloth and kept in dark room and daily checked for fermentation.
  7. After confirmation of completion of fermentation process, the mouth of the vessel is closed with tight lid and kept for 30 days.
  8. After 30 days, the solution should be filtered and kept in glass vessel to dispense to treat various fevers.
  1. कषाय द्रव्य या काढ़े की औषधियों को मोटा-मोटा चूर्ण कर लेना चाहिए और सूचीबद्ध मात्रा में पानी मिलाकर एक चौथाई काढ़ा प्राप्त करने के लिए उबालना चाहिए। काढ़े को साफ बर्तन में रखना चाहिए और ठंडा होने देना चाहिए और फिर छान लेना चाहिए।
  2. काढ़े में गुड़ की सूचीबद्ध मात्रा मिलानी चाहिए और अच्छी तरह हिलाना चाहिए जब तक कि गुड़ पूरी तरह से घुल न जाए। फिर एक बार फिर घोल को सूक्ष्म कपड़े या बारीक छलनी से छान लेना चाहिए। इस घोल को साफ बर्तन में रखना चाहिए और इसमें बारीक पाउडर वाली औषधियां मिलानी चाहिए।
  3. हालांकि संदर्भ श्लोक में धातकी के फूलों का उल्लेख नहीं है, लेकिन अच्छा सन्धान पाने के लिए इसे मिलाना चाहिए।
  4. बर्तन के मुंह को एक मोटा कपडे से बांध देना चाहिए और अंधेरे कमरे में रखा जाता है और किण्वन के लिए दैनिक जांच की जाती है।
  5. किण्वन प्रक्रिया के पूरा होने की पुष्टि के बाद, बर्तन का मुंह कसकर ढक्कन के साथ बंद कर दिया जाता है और 30 दिनों के लिए रखा जाता है। 30 दिनों के बाद, घोल को फ़िल्टर किया जाना चाहिए और कांच के बर्तन में रखा जाना चाहिए ।
  6. इस अमृतारिष्ट का प्रयोग विभिन्न ज्वरों का इलाज करने के लिए उपयोगी है।
