Brief Description

लाक्षा हरिद्रा मञ्जिष्ठा फेनिलं मधुकं बला । लामज्जकं चन्दनं च चम्पकं नीलमुत्पलम् १५२ ॥

प्रत्येकमेषां षण्मुष्टीः पक्त्वा तोये चतुर्गुणे । चतुर्भागावशेषे तु गर्भे चैतत्समावपेत् ॥ १५३ ||

रेणुका पद्मकञ्चैव वाजिगन्धा तथैव च | वेतसं चोरकं कुष्ठं देवदारु नखं त्वचम् ||१५४ ||

शतपुष्पा पुण्डरीकं मांसी मधुकमेव च |एभिरक्षमितैः कल्कैः कषायेणैव पेषितैः ।| १५५||

मस्तुशुक्तारनालानामाढकांशं समावपेत् | क्षीराढकसमायुक्तं तैलप्रस्थं विपाचयेत् || १५६ ||

अभ्यङ्गात्तैलमेतद्धि शीघ्रं दाहमपोहति व्यपोहति तथा वातपित्तश्लेष्मभवज्वरम् || १५७ ||

सप्रलापं सतृष्णञ्च तालुशोषभ्रमान्वितम् | ग्रहोपसृष्टा ये बाला रक्षसा दूषिताश्च ये || १५८ ||

तेषां कष्टं प्रशमयेत्तैलं लाक्षाऽदिकं महत् |

क्वाथ--लाख, हल्दी, मजीठ, रीठा, मुलेटी, खरैटी, लामज्जक ( पीली खस), लालचन्दन, चम्पाके फूल और नीलोत्पल ३०-३० तोले लेकर सबको आधाकुटा करके ३० सेर पानीमें पकायें और ७॥ सेर पानी शेष रहने पर छान लें।

कल्क--रेणुका, पद्मक, असगन्ध, बेत, चोरक (स्पृक्का-असवरग ), कूठ, देवदारु, नख, दालचीची, सोया, कमल, जटामांसी और मुलेठी १६-१। तोला लेकर सबको उपरोक्त क्वाथसे गीला करके एकत्र पीस लें।
तदनन्तर २ सेर तिलके तेल में उपरोक क्याथ, कन्क तथा ८-८ सेर मस्तु, सूक्त, आरनाल और गायका दूध मिलाकर मन्दाग्नि पर पकावें । जब जलांश शुष्क हो जाय तो तेलको छान लें। इसकी मालिशसे दाह और वातज, पित्तज तथा, कफज ज्वर एवं प्रलाप, तृष्णा, तालुशोष और भ्रम युक्त ज्वर शीघ्र ही नष्ट हो जाता है । यह ग्रहदोष और राक्षसों से पीड़ित बालकों के कष्टको भी नष्ट करता है।
