कुपिते मार्गसंरोधान्मेदसो वा कफस्य वा| अतिवृद्ध्याऽनिले नादौ शस्तं स्नेहनबृंहणम्||१५६||

व्यायामशोधनारिष्टमूत्रपानैर्विरेचनैः| तक्राभयाप्रयोगैश्च क्षपयेत् कफमेदसी||१५७||

बोधवृक्षकषायं तु प्रपिबेन्मधुना सह| वातरक्तं जयत्याशु त्रिदोषमपि दारुणम्||१५८||

पुराणयवगोधूमसीध्वरिष्टसुरासवैः| शिलाजतुप्रयोगैश्च गुग्गुलोर्माक्षिकस्य च||१५९||

कुपित इत्यादि| मेदसः कफस्य वा अतिवृद्ध्या कृतात् मार्गसंरोधादनिले कुपिते सति आदौ स्नेहनं तथा बृंहणं च न शस्तमिति श्लोकार्थः| अत्र स्नेहनबृंहणनिषेधे सति कर्तव्यमाह- व्यायामेत्यादिना माक्षिकस्य चेत्यन्तेन||१५६-१५९||

medicated wines and cows urine, purgation and the courses of butter milk and chebulic myrobalan.

The decoction of the holy fig tree taken as a potion mixed with honey, subdues rheumatic condtion quickly even if caused by severe tridisha cordance. The condition may also be cured by a course of old barley,wheat, sidhu wine, medicated wine or sura wine, or by a course of mineral pitch and gum gugul or honey
