समूलपत्रमादाय बाह्मीं प्रक्षाल्य वारिणा । उलूखले क्षोदयित्वा रसं वस्त्रॆण गालयेत् ॥

रसे चतुर्गुणे तस्मिन् घृतप्रस्थं विपाचयेत् । औषधानि तु पेष्याणि तानिमानि प्रदापयेत् ॥

हरिद्रा मालती कुष्ठं त्रिवृता सहरीतकी । एतेषां पलिकान् भागान् शेषाणी कार्षिकाणि तु ॥

पिप्पल्योथविडङ्गानि सैन्धवं शर्करा वचा । सर्वमेतत् समालोड्य शनैः मृद्वग्निना पचेत् ॥

एतत्माशितमात्रॆण वाग्विशुद्धिश्च जायते । सप्तरात्रप्रयोगॆण किन्नरैः सह गीयते ॥

अर्धमासप्रयोगेण सोमराजिवपुर्भवेत् । मासमात्रप्रयोगेण श्रुतमात्रं तु धारयेत् ॥

हन्त्याष्टदश कुष्ठानि अर्शांसि विविधानि च । पञ्चगुल्मान् प्रमेहांश्च कासं पञ्चविधं जयेत् ॥

वन्ध्यानां चैव नारीणां नराणां चाल्परेतसाम् । घृतं सारस्वतं नाम बलवर्णाग्नि वर्धनम् ॥

मूल और पत्र सहित ताजी ब्राह्मीको पानीसे धोकर कूटकर स्वरस निकालें । तत्पश्चात् १६ भाग घीमें ६४ भाग यह स्वरस, और निम्न लिखित
कल्क एकत्र मिलाकर पकावें। | जब घृतमात्र शेष रह जाय तो उसे छान लें।
कल्क - हल्दी, चमेलीके फूल, कूठ, निसोत | और हरड १ भाग तथा पीपल, बायविडंग, सेंधा, खांड और बच ०.२५ भाग लेकर सबको पानीके साथ पीस लें।

इसे सेवन करनेसे वाक्शुद्धि हो जाती है।।
इसके केवल १ सप्ताहके सेवनसे स्वर किन्नरोके समान सुन्दर हो जाता है । २ सप्ताह तक सेवन करनेसे शरीर अत्यन्त कान्तिमान् हो जाता है । यदि इसे १ मास तक सेवन किया जाय तो मनुष्य श्रुतिधर हो जाता है । इसके अतिरिक्त यह अठारह प्रकारके कुष्ठ, अर्श, पांच प्रकारके गुल्म, प्रमेह और पांच प्रकारकी खांसी को भी नष्ट करता है।
यह घृत बल वर्ण और अग्निकी वृद्धि करने वाला तथा वन्ध्या स्त्रियों और अल्पशुक्र मनुष्यों के लिये हितकारी है।
